FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State men’s basketball will again have several “feature” days during the 2021-22 basketball season, announced today.
The season kicks off with a men’s/women’s doubleheader on Tue., Nov. 9, with the women taking on Colorado Christian at 5 p.m., followed by the men hosting 2021 NCAA Sweet 16 participant Oral Roberts at 7:30 p.m. The men’s basketball program is providing free pizza to all students in attendance that night by showing their student ID at the southeast concession starting at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a Rebounds and Touchdowns specials, where fans can purchase ticket packages to cover all the home basketball, volleyball and football for the weekend of Nov. 12-14. Each $55 package includes one general admission ticket to each of Friday’s women’s basketball and Saturday’s volleyball games, upper level ticket to both Friday and Sunday’s men’s basketball games and an upper eastside ticket to the Air Force contest on Saturday.
A pair of games for our Junior Rams basketball program will occur during the season on Sat., Dec. 4 against Saint Mary’s and Wed., Jan. 12 versus Utah State. Jan. 28 will be the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game as CSU takes on UNLV at 7 p.m. Feb. 11, the Rams show their gratitude for all that the University does for everyone with the Commitment 2 Campus Day and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day as CSU hosts Fresno State.
Four games will include special uniforms, including their first appearance of the year on Wed., Jan. 19 against New Mexico, as the Rams will honor the state of Colorado with their State Pride uniforms. The San Diego State game on Fri., Feb. 4 on FS1 will be the annual Orange Out, while the Wyoming contest on Wed., Feb. 23 will be the White Out contest. As the program celebrates Senior Day on Sat., March 5 against Boise State, CSU will don the green uniforms at home for the annual Green Out.
